Fennel

Two to three bulbs with fronds, depending on size. Fennel has a fresh licorice flavor that livens up any dish, raw or roasted. Shave thinly into salads, dip slices into your favorite sauce, or add the sliced bulbs to a roasted vegetable medley. The fronds can function as an herb or garnish, as well.
